WATERCOLOR HAWAII
January 8-15, 2027

You can enjoy one week (six full days and seven nights) of watercolor (and drawing) instruction on the beautiful island of Molokai.  We stay at the Kaluakoi condos on the west end of Molokai. Each condominium is equipped with cooking and serving utensils, a microwave oven, stove top, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, TV, private bath and a balcony or a lanai.  You will view the Hawaiian sunset on the ocean each evening from this location. There is a tennis court and barbecue areas.  The workshop includes all watercolor (or oil painting if you prefer) and drawing instruction and demonstrations, private and group instruction, some materials, and all land transportation on Molokai.  Fee does not include your condo, meals, airfare from and to the mainland, or airfare from and to the other Hawaiian islands. You will book your own condo on the west end of Molokai with either VRBO.com or Airbnb.com for seven nights at Kepuhi Beach the Kaluakoi Condominiums located next to the ocean on the west end of Molokai. Your condo (villa) will cost between $6oo and $1100 for the seven nights. Book early and get the best prices and locations. This way you can get exactly the right condo for you. GREECE

To Be Announced

Travel to Greece with me for an unforgettable adventure making drawings and paintings in this wonderful country, and come back with some great drawings and watercolors. This will be my 14th group trip to Greece. We will visit Athens and the Acropolis, Mykonos, Thira and Oia in Santorini, Folegandros (my favorite Greek Island), and then we will paint and draw the famous monasteries on cliffs at Meteora. Then we will return to Athens and home or some other location in Europe. The cost of this great experience is $5,900 per person based on double occupancy. A single supplement will be $3000 extra. This includes all of your transportation in Greece (air flights and all ferries) all your hotels and breakfasts and instruction and one arrival dinner. This does not include personal ground transportation, taxis and busses, museum entrance fees, and other meals.  Payment for this trip must be received no later than December 31, 2025.

The ITINERARY is below.

You will fly to Athens. You will book your own flight and we will meet at the hotel in Athens.

Day 1. When we arrive in Athens, after checing in to our hotel we will enjoy a complimentry evening meal together in Plaka, the old neighborhood adjacent to the Acropolis in Athens.

Day 2. We will draw or paint the Acropolis in the morning after breakfast from the hotel roof garden. You can visit the Acropolis in the morning and then we will take the ferry to Mykonos in the afternoon. Dinner in Mykonos.

Day 3. After breakfast Robert will do a painting and drawing demonstration and instruction in Mykonos. We will paint and draw in Mykonos and then meet at the hotel in the evening for a show and tell before dinner.

Day 4. Optional: You can take the morning ferry to Delos (not included) and visit the ancient ruins there. Or you can explore and paint in Mykonos with Robert. We will paint and draw in Mykonos in the afternoon. Then we will meet at the hotel in the mid-afternoon for a painting demonstration. Then we will have a show and tell before dinner.

Day 5. After breakfast we will take the ferry from Mykonos to Santorini by way of Paros. We can paint or draw Santorini and other islands from the ferry. Dinner in Santorini.

Day 6. After breakfast we will walk to a painting site near the hotel for a painting demonstration and some instruction. We will  then paint at the site. After lunch we will paint in Thira and visit the small museum near the hotel. We will meet at the hotel in the evening for our show and tell before dinner.

Day 7. After breakfast we will take a bus or taxi to Oia in Santorini and watch a painting and drawing demonstration and instruction. Then we will paint in Oia. After lunch we will paint or shop in Oia. We can watch the sunset in Oia and then return to Thira and meet at the hotel in the evening for our show and tell before dinner.

Day 8. After breakfast we will take the ferry to Folegandros, my favorite Greek island. We can draw or paint from the port in your sketch book as we wait for the ferry to leave. We will draw or paint in the afternoon in Folegandros. Then we will meet at the hotel in the evening for a show and tell before dinner.

Day 9. After breakfast we will walk to a painting site for a painting demonstration and instruction then paint at the site. After lunch we will explore and paint in Folegandros. We will meet at the hotel in the evening for a show and tell before dinner.

Day 10. After breakfast we will walk to a painting site for a painting demonstration and instruction and we will paint at the site. After lunch we will paint in Folegandros. We will meet at the hotel in the evening for a show and tell before dinner.

Day 11. After breakfast we will take a ferry back to Santorini and paint in Santorini in the afternoon. We will meet at the hotel in the evening for a show and tell before dinner.

Day 12. After breakfas wet fly to Athens and then take a bus to Kalambaka in the north.

Day 13.  After breakfast we will paint and draw at Meteora.  We will meet at the hotel in the evening for a show and tell before dinner.

Day 14. After breakfast we will take the bus back to the Athens airport and get our flights to return to the USA or any other place we may want to visit in Europe.

YOSEMITE 2027
May 14–16, 2027

From Friday, May 14-Sunday May 16, 2027 you can sharpen your landscape drawing and painting skills while you visit powerful waterfalls, overflowing streams, fresh green meadows, and the spectacular geologic formations in Yosemite Valley.  Robert will do four watercolor demonstrations. You will get individual coaching and participate in three class reviews of student works. You will be able to observe and try a variety of drawing and watercolor techniques. This will be the 40th year Robert has conducted a Yosemite Workshop. He has also been invited to be the Artist in Residence at the Art Activity Center in Yosemite for many years. The fee includes 16 hours of instructional class time. Registration The registration fee is $299 for the three days. If you register before January 1, 2027, save $50 and send only $249. This discount is not available with PayPal. You must make your own reservations for accommodations.  Your room is not included in the workshop fee.  Make your accommodation reservation as soon as possible.
